ever since i dunno when, my dad decided that we should keep a pet. and that it should be a fish. and thats the story of how we got our current fish tank with its fishes. the fish tank has seen many generations of fishes, big and small but all were not as weird as this certain gold fish. i will tell you why: it always like to float with its belly UP. if you are a person with any common sense, youd probably know that it should be dead. but is it? nooo. the first time i saw it, i got a fright. im like goodness gracious not another one. (this was quite a natural conclusion given that i saw it swimming near the 'death corner' for a couple of days. the 'death corner' is named so because in the previous batch of fish, whenever one loiters near it, itd probably be dead a couple of days later. o.O my dad says its probably the pump.) and when i go a bit closer, i find its mouth is blubbing away contently. poof. thats not all. several times i have caught it doing a nice backstroke in the tank. i think that fish of mine is totally breaking all the rules of 'fish living'.

and then there is this eye. when the fish is in this particular position, and you happen to walk pass, it appears that it has no eyes. like its been totally gorged out. goodness. second time i got a fright. maybe i shall take a photo of it, but until then, i shall observe carefully the antics of that oh so weird fish....
