im starting to dislike my mum....a lot

right now, im feeling super pissed off. i mean, im trying to keep in touch with my friends over MSN and she just hurtles in and says,"you shouldn't be doing that early in the morning, blablablabla" and obviously hinting that i should just go study after saying"i bet blablabla is studying right now, while you are still wasting your time on your computer." HELLO!!! earth to mum, i was just looking at jixun comm stuff on yahoo groups OKAY to.OT goodness. and because of a stupid trip back to china, i cant even GO for jixun. and there my mum goes saying"im banning you from MSN. and you can only go on at 3:00pm or something like that" goodness. is she trying to severe all my ties or what? ive been cooped up for sooooo long at home with my annoying sister who has to poke her damn nose into every freaking thing i do, even when im reading my MAIL!!! seriously i cant tell you how GREAT i felt when we went back to do gram staining in the lab, with the usual yvonne shrieking and fumblings in our experiments. goodness knows how much i miss 111. sigh. then, my mum would go on relentlessly about how she was a star pupil at her time, topping her class, getting invited over to her teacher's house because she is such a goody goody, ALWAYS scoring really really high for exams without having to study too hard. HELLO, move on. those times and now are TOTALLY different. i mean you dont see little kids in primary school coming out to play like last time. instead they are all burdened with homework and stuck at home. AND i noticed that recently, she seems to trust my damn sister more than me. when i told her i intended to play piano using the comp to read my mail (and secretly blogging) she didnt belive me. apparently she decided i spent to much time with the comp and banned me from it for the whole day. so crap. to make matters worse whatever i do, i have to explain and sometimes it just dosent seem to make sense to her and she will proceed to ban me from whatever i was doing for the whole day. for exapmple, she told us to clear all our tape recordings and we did. and OBVIOUSLY in order to do that, we have to sit in front of the TV and watch, but then, she demanded that we STOP watching and banned my sis and me from the TV for the whole day again. apparently, she wants me to do nothing but study. what crap is that. i mean studying once in a while is fine but its not fine when you try to do recreational stuff, chat with your friends (i only use MSN because my mum always hogs the phone) and your mum comes yapping at your heels to GO BACK AND STUDY. newsflash: studying during holidays = NOT holidays. sigh. i know she is trying to help me but by saying stuff like "your chinese is soo poor, why dont you read chinese books( and by that she means NO english books, READ ONLY chinese books she borrows for me.)""at this rate you are going to be last in your class"or"see your cousin is so good in blablabla how about you? just lazing around and doing nothing but using the useless computer and watching some lame show on tv." HELLO><>

there. a very nice paragraph of venting. i think i feel better already.
