yipeee its Singapore's 42nd birthday!!! whoooooooooooots!!!. actually...not yet. its tmr still its great to gush about how wonderful Singapore is. lol...so happy =) celebrations today. i remembered to bring my cam but apparently ive been such a dodo head that i forgot to add in the battery. -.-" so sian. carry extra weight still cannot capture those wonderful memories.....
Ah wells, no use regretting. just have to remember next time. enjoyed the sec 2 and sec 4 performances...the skits by the sec 2s were so....so...patriotic?? and lovely and just.....really nice. (hrmph apparently my command of english is failing moi =O) and during the sec 4 parades(??) i saw lots of CO seniors like dawn and melissa etc. etc. and also those not performing like qian qian and yiusum and... and... and...( o drat those mental blocks but u get what i mean right?)
halfway through the show, our dear el teacher arrived with a baby...a BABY... i wonder whose it is ^.- ( did i forget to mention that she would book us if we chattered or figited anymore. for goodness sake that place is so darn hot and stuffy... to.OT) and she looks so motherly....and i really nearly said "holey-rocka-moley!! is that the el teacher (names changed to protect identity -.-") with a baby!!!" i guess she gave us quite a shock...
right near the end, the house capts'08 were announced. whoooooooooots!!! sharon, debbie and joho were all chosen for capts !!!! yay!!! and all from 311'07 some more. what very good leadership they have i suppose>.< suddenly some random person popped down four gigantic plastic transparent balls and the sec3s and 4s started bouncin it up and down... no fair. we were stuck up at the 2nd level so cannot play unless we fall out... :'( well at least they had the innovative idea to slide the national flag with two teddy bears down strings... that was a marvelous ending...but not quite. the songs were THE best part. everyone so united when we were belting out all those wonderful songs.. sigh* what a wonderful day....
anyways, the songs this year aint so bad as i thought. if u suddenly have the urge to pour out ur love for Singapore just sing all those patriotic songs...i bet it will make u cry.. *so touching* o.o heres the link if u want to listen to any of those songs:

Just a random piece of news: one of our cushions disappeared yesterday. when my mum went down, the cushion wasnt there so we thought that we well and truly lost that cushion. than today, when my sis and i went biking, my dad turned up with the missing cushion in one hand and asked me if i brought my card...lol... so the case of the missing cushion is solved ~.~ lol.
happy singing =)
